i also wanted to add - i think VW actually planned for this, as if you look in a sunroof vanagon, the sunroof crank handle is offset - not directly centered in the headliner. it is more towards the drivers side. so when the overhead a/c unit is installed, the center tunnel does not cover the sunroof crank handle.. of course you bang your knuckles on the center tunnel, but the crank works :<) chris
