Just my comments about...
never ending "chain comments" and answers to jokes or other subjects that
are not relevant for most of the people on the list.
I dont argue that it is nice to have on the list jokes of every kind about
cars or whatever other subjects. But what i think is annoying is the "chain
comments" that very often follows from a lot of people or sometimes just a
discussion between two of them. It is often not relevant for most of the
listees and sometimes i have the feeling that the volume of messages on the
list could be cut at least from one third.
I am quite sure that a lot of listees are like me and do not have time to
read all the messages because of the volume.
I very often just take a quick look at the subjects and just delete all the
messages. I do this in part because there is so much messages that are just
discussions between 2 or 3 persons and if i did not get the beginning, it
just means nothing.
If we juge that it concerns one or two persons, why not just send the
message to those persons?
Except Fridays of course... :)))))
