Thatīs a normal VIN for german T3s. WV2 : VW ZZZ: Empty, just to fill up 25: Type 2 (Vanagon) Z: Empty, fill up E: Year (84 or 85?) H: Built in Hannover 064643: 64643rd Vanagon built in that year

The 3 "Z"īs are used in every VW/Audi in germany and the 4th "Z" also is a filling digit. In other states VW uses more Codes (describing engines etc), while in Germany it is not necessary.

The VIN of my T3 is WV2ZZZ25ZNG000883 N: Model year 92 G: Built in Graz (the last 2WDs were built there)

Engine codes are not given in the VIN here in Germany.

Raimund
