Oh no... they'd never do that on the main highway... they don't close the main highway because of the snow itself... they close it because the tourists don't know how to drive in it... chains or not, 4WD or not! But they will put the chains&4WD designation on seconday highways up here... fewer tourists and the locals have to get to work and home...
