In cold weather my '89 westy never seems to reach operating temperature.  I
also dont get much heat from the heater. I'm thinking it's the thermostat.
To my amazement my local parts place had one so I grabbed it along with a
gasket but before I start I thought I'd run this by the list.  Does my
diagnosis seem correct? How tough is this job? Will I need to bleed and fill
the system when I'm done?
should I lay in suppies of expensive dealer-obtained coolant?
