Be very careful of FLAPS purchased thermostats. The are more often than not the incorrect one. I strongly suggest you take the time to get one from Ron at The Bus Depot or Ken at Vanagain or one of the other list vendors. You know you will have it right.

You might also consider keeping a spare thermostat and coolant level sensor in your van as spare parts. I have had to replace both at least three times since I bought my 88 van a little over two years ago.
