I have owned, 473 automobiles, 258 motorcycles, been involved with 73 women, and have owned 1 Vanagon. Out of 473 cars, 4 have been undependable, because they were Ford's Most of the 258 motorcycles, have been undependable, because they have been "made in England" All of the women have let me down, one way or another, but that was expected. But above and beyond, all the rest of the let down's, the Vanagon has surpassed it all !!! 45 miles from home this evening, it stopped, and left me high and dry, for no reason at all, causing me more duress, than all of the above. No hint. No clue. No warning. What a beautiful thing. $275.00 later I'm home. What a bargain.

Later, Despondent,
