Well, I spotted the thing in the first place, so I might as well pass this new news along.

There was a Westy posted on Ebay recently. Owners had it parked at a mechanic's and had to get rid of it.The pic showed an intact vehicle with full Westy interior sitting on 4 inflated tires. They said it was running.

Apparently it didn't sell on Ebay for a $400 bid. I had enquired and the owners sent me the following, I presume they wouldn't mind if I post it here.

I don't know them at all, nor am I in Ca. It just looked like a decent deal, for parts, if nothing else. Still don't know if it has a fridge or not, I asked but she didn't know.

<Just letting everyone know who inquired about our v.w. westfalia, that the bidder isn't paying up.

We are taking any reasonable offer now, we need to get it moved from where it is!

thanks, Kim & Tony 831-684-2052>
