Hi all,
I need help with a gas tank from an 82 diesel westy. We just got the
westy and decided to drop the tank since the bus had been sitting for at
least a year that we know of. Everything came off easily. The question
we have is how to clean the tank. We drained out about 7 gallons of
diesel fuel. The inside of the tank looks good. No rust visible. We just
want to know if there is anything to swish around in there to cut the
film of the old diesel fuel. We don't want the injectors to get clogged
from any old gunk from the tank. Any suggestions?
