At the recent Florida Bug Jam I was able to speak to several Vanagon Westy owners and to look at their tires. The most popular tire was the Michelin X (not to be confused with the X-one). I also found an air-cooled Vanagon Westy with a set of Kumho tires on the rear and Nankangook (spelling is off on that one) tires on the front. I found the Kumho website (www.kumhotires.com). They list a Kumho Commercial A/S 852 in sizes ranging from 185-14 to 205-14. These are reinforced sidewall with a 'D' load rating. Is anyone on this list using these?
