...and you are all as sick as me :)  Thanks for the support. I am going
to fix it and keep it. I really have too. There is nothing else. Drive
it everyday? I would love to. But I know if I do, the sooner I will lose
it in the future. I was not successful trying to import one from South
Africa. That is not to say it can't be done. I just gave up. Perhaps
I'll drive it just during the summer months.

I do know this: That when we pack it up for a trip with overnight stuff,
cooler filled with beer, coke and goodies just between the front seats
(after the van has been fully cleaned and polished of course) then
purchase a few cigars and head out on the road, it feels GREAT. (Did any
of you notice that you can drive with you driver window down, and as
long as the side window is open an inch or two, that the wind does not
interfere with your face or hair or anything. No loud wind noise. Your
just cruising at 70 with your arm resting on the door sucking in the
beautiful day bouncing on top of those front wheels.... is my sickness
showing?).

Yea. I gotta keep it. Thanks for your help. Now I guess I have to start
throwing money at it. It goes in for the door repair tonight. I have a
lead for a new rear hatch but could use another option if you know of
one. Will need to repair rear Carat bumper also unless I can find one.

Perhaps I'll see some of you on the road in the future. Will keep you
informed.
