Hi gang,

You may remember my post from about a month ago about my mechanic buddy Jeff in Nova Scotia who'd been ripped off by a woman and her pit bull companion. I asked you to keep your eyes open --- and sure enough listee Frank Condelli found her a few weeks later --- trying to sell the van (with Jeff's engine in it and $2500 outstanding in bills) on the 'net. Jeff went to Montreal to have a chat with her --- turns out she doesn't even own the van and doesn't have a cent to her name. This makes it somewhat difficult for Jeff to recover his engine and money owed. He hasn't given up yet though.

Just thought I'd let you all know that --- thanks to the power of this great list --- the miscreant was found. Way to go Frank and thanks to all of you.

Cheers, Doug Alcock '84 Westy Toronto, Canada
