I realize that the Golf fuel rail solution is the best way to go. I am wondering why you need the Vanagon stuff when it is advertised as a complete kit. If I paid big dollars for the novelty of a new engine I should would like to have new fuel injectors!

Yes, it's true, and some bolts, brackets, fuel pressure regulator, etc. Thing is, the Golf/Jetta fuel rail (with attached regulator) fits perfectly, and would be a much safer setup than gluing adaptors onto the Vanagon injectors, and adding extra hoses. The Golf/Jetta fuel rail is all self-contained, one hose in, one out. I'm not sure why this setup it not included with the kit. It should be, IMO. Nor is an oxygen sensor, or wiring for same. (this may be included on the latest kits, they were supposed to remedy that oversight)
