My van had the Uniroyal tires you mentioned (relatively new) when we bought it in July. They were horrible - the van blew all over the road in any amount of crosswind. They are rated VERY low on the Tirerack.com customer ratings charts (if that means anything). I replaced them with Michelin Agilis 61's and it made a world of difference. They're a little more expensive, but worth every penny.
