Just a quick and unknown if correct answer, but isn't the wabatso heater
mounted on the driver rear corner of the engine bay?

Hi Volks:

Our small but pretty "intense" Winnipeg Westy group is seeking the lists
help, please.

(Real short answers are appreciated - I am aware that the list has "woken
up"!)

We are still trying to find the best place to put an in-line heater - these
things splice into heater hoses, and warm the coolant.

We all have the 1.9 engines, so that makes it a bit simpler.

The main thing, is that we need to have the heated coolant circulate in a
loop, going through both heads.

Let's reference page 19.10 in the Bentley - so we're all working from the
same page.

It looks to me that if we splice the heater into the hose exiting the right
head, this would provide circulation into the left head.

1.    Remembering that the coolant will be warm - and not real hot - will it
be able to pass through the thermostat and enter the left head?

2. Is there a return path back to the right head? The diagram is confusing
to me!

3.    Finally - the manufacturer's instructions say to connect the heater
into the lower rad hose - would this provide a circuit - or would the
thermostat block the coolant? (the heater is only 80 watts or so)
