Jim,

For all that is decent, VW should at least do this for the Faithful. If the experience of others is similar to mine, it is obvious that VW has all but abandoned its support of the Vanagon. I mean, when the VW-trained "technician" says," I didn't know they made them things in 4-wheel drive " as you hand him the keys to your Syncro, you start to wonder if he really should be doing a 4 wheel alignment on it. The EKTA data would not have to be offered solely to list members; who else would be interested in it?
