Hi, To tighten up the armrest, you need to remove the plastic cap, it should snap right off, then remove the big gold colored allen bolt, which removes the armrest, then tighten up the 2 more allen bolts you find after the armrest is removed.The part in my van that gets loose is the bracket that actually holds the armrest. After you tighten those 2 allens, put the armrest back on and put the large gold allen and cap and you're done. Kim 85 GL
