Last weekend whle changing my transmission fluid, I replaced the back up light switch with the one I order from the BD. Still no lights. Check fuse #15 (which is what Bentley says it's on) and there's power. Bulbs are good. So I need to know..

1) is there a usual suspect along the way for broken wires, etc. 2) is the switch a simple power in one side, out the other when switch is closed (i.e. should I have power to one side of the switch all the time when the ignition is on?). I tried both wires with a test light and got nothing, but I thought maybe my test light wasn't getting a good enough ground. Who knows.

My patience was worn pretty thin by the time I finished with the transmission oil, so I didn't spend much time on it (not because changing the oil was difficult, it's just it was getting dark and the temperature had dropped below freezing again, and I was tired of laying underneath the van!).
