I've never seen the socket hole, not having one in my van. But, not using the cigaretter lighter (indeed, not HAVING the cigarette lighter, only the lighter socket), I wonder if the "silver socket" Bosch insert mentioned below would fit in the cigarette lighter hole with the already present wiring? How is this power plug configured? Would it be more useful than plugging in the standard lighter type 12V adapter deals?
