Subject: How to bleed the cooling system???
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

OOPS!!! Hi all again... :) I own 1 1982 1.6l TD Westy. After repairing a leak in my cooling system, i still have bubles in the system. I hear the swishing sound of those bubles behind the dashboard when i use the heather. I tried to do like i saw a mechanic once: I raise the front end of the van abou 18 inches, I open the cap of the filling tank on the engine, tet run the engine at about 2000 rpm to get the engine warm. When the coolant gets hot and circulates, i alternatively open and close the bleether valve on the radiator to let air out. If the level of the coolant goes down, i add coolant. before shutting down the engine, i put back the coolant cap. I did this procedure twice but ther is always bubbles haunting my system... Any suggestions?
