Subject:      why did tune up lead to dead battery??

I just replaced the plugs, cap, and rotor on my '87 (a few days ago). That same day, I started it up, took it for a spin, and everything seemed fine. This morning, it struggled to crank over a few times, and then it just wouldn't budge....symptoms of a very low battery.

So, here's the question. I don't think that replacing parts would cause the battery to drain in any way, but is there anything that I might have knocked loose? I took out the air filter housing to change the plugs on the passenger side. Otherwise, I didn't intentionally move anything. The battery is only a few months old, and I will check the condition of it first unless there's another obvious answer. I'm just hoping that somebody out there has an idea. By the way, the interior light and radio still work, and the westy battery indicator glows yellow (though this doesn't mean too much).
