eco-alternative.  Very effective when used with heat, and no chance of
spontaneous combustion, although it might flicker like a candle if you apply
it to metal that is very hot.  Just heat the parts and apply the wax, it
melts into the joint.  I've used it many times on manifolds with success.
Available at real hardware stores, usually in round blocks (like surfboard
wax).
