Well, I live at 6,000 feet in the Lake Tahoe area where we can have 8 months of winter and some of the deepest snow loads in the U.S. (wet storms coming off the Pacific)...

Judging by the numbers on the road it would seem that the Subaru is the favorite winter vehicle... low center of gravity, front wheel drive and 4 wheel drive...
