Subject: More On Tire Inflation & fatal Exceptions"
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Thanks fellas, But I fear I did not express well what I was getting at. I already know what it says on my tires, but wondered about the *choice* of pressure within that range, based on my driving plans.

Last winter in Mexico I was always getting grief from Pemex attendants, who were shocked at the 45 lbs I was keeping in them! One of them was so horrified that, without even asking, he began letting air out of my tires, explaining he feared my tires would explode. 45 lbs, if I recall, is 10 lbs under the max rating.

I have had a heart stopping day with my mail program on the blink & my computer suffering repeated "fatal exceptions" in sector 32, whatever that means! Without this email I am toast, so if I should disappear into the ether, that's why. Fading fast, Phaedra
