Patrick, I think it can be done,in fact I'm sure I've seen T3s here with 235 15s but be aware that you'll probably have very minimal clearance between your rear tyre and the sliding door when open,depending on the wheel's offset.

I run 215/60 tyres on 15x7" rims and have only about 10mm (3/8th") clearance betwwen my tyre & sliding door.Dunno what the offset is, but I experience no other problems with the wheels. But I do have to be careful not to fully open the door if I have my snow chains fitted,but admittedly,that's not very often...
