I have used one of these, and was surprised at how well it worked removing lug nuts from my friend's 3/4 ton Ford pickup. He bought one to speed roadside tire changes and thought it was broken because the motor would spin but the socket did not. I figured out by accident (big dummy feeling that I am used to) that it has a flywheel inside that has to build up enough RPM before a clutch engages and drives the socket.

Hi Volks:

JC Whitney sells these 12V impact wrenches - they sound like a great idea. Supposedly go to 250ft/lbs.

Has anyone ever used one of these puppies?
