Scott,

They do have 'shift lite' tachs where a light comes on when a preset rpm is exceeded. Another idea is to purchase a rev limiter rotor. This has an internal spring and limits the rpm. These are available in 4500, 4950, 5100, 5400, 5900. There are more, but too high to be helpful for us VW folk!

Every once in a while, my van gets driven by a non-VW person (heaven forbid). Instead of being paranoid about the natural tendency to over-rev the engine by such drivers, I would love to have some device that would do this 'monitoring.' > > Thanks, > Scott > > -------------------------- eGroups Sponsor -------------------------~-~> > Create your business web site your way now at Bigstep.com. > It's the fast, easy way to get online, to promote your business, > and to sell your products and services.
