(Not speaking for the 2.1, but they prolly aren't much harder.)
On 1.9L's
If you do it fast enough-neither. Remove the plug, be ready with the new one
really close by as the old one starts to come out. Install the new one. You
should only lose about a tablespoon of coolant.
