Thanks, Austin. The site you suggested appears to be for a "Heidelberg' radio (in a Scirocco), which I suspect is a Blaupunkt/Bosch model, as they usually use the city monikers. Blaupunkt's web site gives step-by-step for reprogramming their radios along with a 1-900 number for the code itself. Mine is manufactured by Matsushita, which I think is Panasonic/Technics parent company. In any case, I think I have solved my problem through the kind assistance of the following vanagon.com list member: Rennie, VolksDragon@earthlink.net, Los Angeles >>Problem is that it is a security-coded model and is probably locked >>up now. My friend took it out of his VW Jetta (circa 1994 I think) >>and now I'll probably need some code. He doesn't have the code. I'll >>call VW but I thought I would post this anyway in case any of you >>know. >Try this site: http://foxx.tripod.com/vw/h5coding.htm >Austin
