David, there is a buzzer that sounds off when there is an oil pressure problem. I had it happen to me. In my case it was with a brand new engine. I replaced the rear pressure sensor and also put the two pressure lines on correctly( the mechanic helper got them switched backward) and the problem was solved.

There was a buzzing but the problem was most definitely NOT the fuel pump.
