Well, took the head off of Betsy yesterday afternoon and a terrrrible sight.... The 3-prong plug that started this tread had done some ugly damage to the internals. The head, piston and sleeve all have lots of nicks and chips in them. The sleeves are scratched from the piston head being dinged so much and rubbing against them.

I've taken pictures of everything as I take it apart and will take them down to the dealership to see if they will help me out on the repair costs, since they installed the plugs while doing a full tune-up.

I plan on picking up a honing tool tomorrow morning and will attempt the repair the sleeve, and clean up the piston and head with old fashioned sandpaper..... Any advice?

I'd rather just park her and try to get the dealership to do the repairs, but 1) gotta get groceries, and 2) I don't trust these guys to touch my bus again....
