Hi David,
    Put a volt meter across the fuel pump terminals and measure the voltage.
You should have 12 -14 volts. Be sure you get good flow from the line to the
pump when you pull the hose to the pump. You can clamp the fuel line with a
long nose vise grip with hose on the jaws, then remove the vise grips to
test flow. Also check to be sure the input side of the fuel pump is clean no
rust dirt.
