As my newly doubled flock sits unused: the'91 is in the body shop getting a little touch up and the '84 is snug in the garage waiting for a few nice days for a late autumn/early winter side trip; I am trying to empathize with you...two vans each with a bad head. Too bad they're both not gas ( or diesel) ....you could put both good ones on one and take your time with the work on the bad. How much are you leaking?... (it goes without saying, but I'm writing it anyway)if you know the head is bad , you have to keep a weather eye on the coolant level to maintain proper engine temps..other wise try the aluminum slurry...all you'll be out is that cost if it doesn't work.

No thing worth having comes easy. or Nothing worth having comes easy. Not vanagons. Not great marriages. Not good relationships with your kids. Not long term goals. All things worth pursuing have the requisite toil and heartache. So suck it in and... Go for it! -- Stephen Steele '91 Caravelle...Hans '84 Westy....Fritz or Sunny? Chillicothe, OH
