I'll reiterate....

Be most cautious using a radiator stop leak in your Vanagon. It *may* seal the leak. (probably not though) It *will* plug the radiator. At least in my experience. Doesn't really show up until your SO is two thousand miles away, in the middle of the Mohave desert in August, with a car full of kids. (And she gets a gold plated attaboy! She drove it home without blowing it up.!!!)

When it got home, I replaced the radiator and all the overheating went away. Prior to that, it would overheat in about twenty minutes. Just slowly got warmer and warmer until the temp guage pegged and the light came on. Sit at the side of the road for an hour and do it all over again.
