HELP!

Recently had engine rebuilt and clutch replaced on my 90 Vanagon and today it wouldn't go into gear....any gear.

I Had noticed that the clutch seemed progressively "low" meaning as I released the clutch, say in first gear, the gear would engage almost immediately. Today, the clutch pedal just couldn't go down far enough.

Here's the strange thing: after pumping the clutch several times quickly, I was able to get the van back in gear, and it didn't have any trouble getting home.

Am planning huge trip SOUTH in a month or two and need to know if this is minor clutch problem, or potential transmission trouble. Van has 150K on orig tranny.

THE LIST RULES!

Thank you for any help-

Lebowski 90 Vanagon 92 GTI
