Hi Volks,

I need to replace the antenna on my 1983 Westy. Someone told me to remove the fount grill and I should be able to access the antenna from there, well I took the grill off this weekend, but I sound a bit of sheet metal that keeps me from reaching it. It has a tube to allow the antenna to be retracted, but I can't get my hand or any tools there. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove the old antenna so I can replace it?

Thanks in advance for all the help, both in the past and in the present and future!
