       To continue the development of the STEBRO/Vanagon Stainless Steel 
Muffler for the 1.9 litre engined Vanagons we are in need of the three rods 
that connect to the muffler strap of the OEM system.  We now have a prototype 
muffler fabricated and have a muffler strap to copy but we cannot locate the 
three rods without getting them new from the dealer.  VW Canada wants a small 
fortune for these rods.  Rod #1, 025-251-347, $46.30, rod #2, 025-251-348, 
$87.95, rod #3, 025-251-349, $46.30.
Anyone out there have these three rods and willing to donate them for copying 
? Or, anyone know where to get them at a better price ?  When we have these 
rods then we will reproduce them in stainless along with the muffler clamp 
and they will be part of the 1.9 litre STEBRO/Vanagon Stainless Steel 
Muffler/Tailpipe package.
