Subject: 88 TD Syncro caravelle grinding sound when backing off
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

My van is making a wicked grinding sound when I back off.The sound dissapears as soon as I hit the gas or drive uphill. It doesn`t make any difference whether I am coasting in neutral,in gear with my foot on the clutch or which gear I am in.I have just bought the van so I dont really know how long the problem has been around. When I bought the van the exhaust was very loose and was vibrating on the underbody,I thought that this may be the cause of the noise but I have repaired that and now all I can hear is this dam grinding sound . Thanks in advance for any help. Andy Williams _____________________________________________________________________________________ Get more from the Web.
