Wolfsburg Editions (spelled w/ a "U") are usually appearance packages. IIRC they are intended to stimulate sales late in the model year. They usually include some options w/o any extra charge. Example would be power mirrors, power door locks, and power windows ... , etc., etc. The true Weekender is usually also offered as a Wolfsburg Ed. Some folks confuse having the "Weekender-style" folding bed as an indication of Westy Weekender which to my knowledge only came as a Wolfsburg Ed.
