Yoshi...

There are several different models of the Optima battery.... make sure you get the one that has side posts in addition to the top posts...

Then, in order to fit the optima battery into the 'sub battery box' (auxiliary battery compartment), I cut two slots in the top forward lip of the auxiliary battery compartment... one for each of the top posts. And then two slots in the battery box lid to assure the side posts don't touch the lid... then taped over the two gaps in the lid with black duct type tape.
