2 for diesel(DA-6), 1 for gas(BA-6). Check the fuel pump with 12V first. With good condition, you can hear and see the pump working!

I have a Eberspacher BA6 heater on Pokey that isn't working. The glow plug works and I am getting gas as far as the pump but the hose beyond it the hose is dry. The pump is located on the passenger side, off of the main fuel line before it hits the main fuel filter for the engine (which incidentally means it is not filtered either since my fuel filter is located after the main fuel pump. There is just the one pump on mine, and a lot of people have said this is right, but in Bentley clearly shows TWO pumps on 82.17 Figure 14. These are part number 251 261 467 A (small quantity) and 251 261 467 B (large quantity). There is a very bad gas smell inside the cabin, now I'm pretty sure I'm getting a gas leak on my fuel tank but I think some of if could be heater related. Any thoughts?
