Subject: meet and marry the vanagon goddess of your dreams
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I would not even be on this list if it were not for the vanagon goddess I am about to marry. You see I have been an air-cooled man for quite a while, my first car was a 73 thing (which I still own) purchased at age 13 with paper route money and restored myself. After that I owned a couple of beetles that fulfilled my vw sickness. When I went off to college I bought a Sorrocco which led me to believe all water cooled vws were junk. After school I bought a 65 bus that took me all over the country and quickly became a part of the family. Then came a 74 bus and then came Nikki (the vanagon goddess) the most loving human being I have ever encountered. Nikki went to all the VW shows with me this summer and ,although she had never been into VWs before, fell in love with the entire VW scene. (and me too!) She convinced me that I should get her a vanagon and later convinced me that I should marry her. I bought her a blue 85 vanagon as an engagement present and she cherishes it. Now I am thinking about selling my air cooled VWs to get a syncro vanagon for myself. Alas I have seen the light, true love deserves a good vanagon.

Thank you for the bandwidth, and thank you for listening to my non-directional rave. Whish Nikki and I luck as we enter into marriage on December 27 of this month. John W.
