Hmm... I thought that the dollar is worth .87 Euros at the moment. It's been sliding lately, but nobody's noticed because of the dust thrown up by the stock market.

In any case, let me take this opportunity to introduce myself. I'm new to the list, having just joined last night. Name is Dave Baker, location is Kansas City, and I recently acquired an 85 Westy Weekender which we affectionately call "Wolfy." 30 years ago, when newly married, I had a 68 Westy which I dearly loved but, in a moment of insanity, let pass out of my hands. It's good to be back in the fold.

As far as Iceland is concerned, I'd love to be there, but doubt I'll be able to make the trip. My cousin is married to a lady from that fair island, and they're all ok folks, as far as I am concerned. And with regard to the comment on "anti-American sentiment," you don't have to go outside the US to find that!

Looking forward to reading and learning from your posts.

Dave
