Hmmm... Rt 12 is beeeyouteeful.. in the summer. I suspect you'll do OK but if there is any chance of percipitation, not the road to be on. Nice two lane road lots of hills and curves as it winds through the mountains. I have never made the I90 trip. Spokan is a pretty nice place though.
