Subject: whistling when the heat is on???
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Hi List,

I think this has been discussed before but i just want to be certain. When i have the heat on, there is a whistling noise that comes in the vent right in the middle of the dash near my right knee. The factory slot there. Is it because of that cable get loose with age or is it the felt getting old and allowing air in, or both? How do i get to either problem, and can i, a somewhat mechanically inclined moron, fix it?

TIA,
