I simply gutted an old cap and threaded an IPS to compression male adapter into an approprately size tap hole drilled in its center. It only takes a couple of pounds of air. An added benefit for me is that the same setup works on my Volvos. Anyone who has had experience with the Volvo's system will attest to the fact that the Vanagon's, in comparison is a breeze to do.
