Andrew, To make the rim fit you have to mount 20mm spacers. But there are other issues as well. The center hole does not fit the front hub cap of the Vanagon. Additionally the allowed load per rim is only 590kg, Vanagon requires at least 650kg. The nuts and bolts have to be turned at least 7.5 turns before they get tight. I took some pictures, you will find them at: Whole Crewcab http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1327568&a=9868284&p=32783418&Sequence= 0 4WD front http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1327568&a=9868284&p=32783420&Sequence= 0 4WD rear (=2WD rear) http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1327568&a=9868284&p=32783422&Sequence= 0 2WD front http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1327568&a=9868284&p=32783423&Sequence= 0 Letter of conformance from Audi http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1327568&a=9868284&p=33036140&Sequence= 0 I do not recommend to use this rims on a Vanagon.
