What is the condition is the bushing in the transmission? If the bushing is worn or missing, the starter will not turn properly. Just put a new rebuilt starter on my 85GL. The van now only starts when its freezing cold (-4F today) and still turns over very slow and usually doesn't turn over at all. Mechanic thinks its the starter as it draws ~250amps to turn over. What amperage should a good starter draw??? Does it sound like the starter is the problem? Thanks
