In my new '82 diesel the turn signals perform normally unless the lights are turned on. Then they speed up. Just to make things a little weirder, the right side is faster than the left. I also notice a slight increase in speed during the day (no lights) when I apply the brakes. Does this sound like a bad ground in the taillight assy? I will be pulling Hanagon-Blue (named after my scruffy Schnauzer, Hannah Blue) into the garage this weekend to see what it is exactly that I have added to my fleet. On the list is check of electrical connections but it would be helpful if I could go after existing problem areas before I start creating new ones! PS. Thanks for all the replies on my "diesel tips thread". They have all been great! Barbara, I will forward them to you. Mike Pidcoe |
