Dear List, The last time my beloved '83 V'gon was up on the lift I asked the excellent mechanic who works on it to check all the coolant hoses for leaks or wear. He noticed that the two "T's" connecting the cooling system to the little radiator under the back seat were corroded. I ordered replacements from Camelback. By the time they came and I could get back to the garage another month had gone by. Thank heavens no more time passed. When the old metal T's were removed they ust fell apart. Another month or so and I probably would have left all my coolant on the road somewhere. So, if yours haven't been replaced, I suggest you take a look! BTW the new ones are nylon. Should last a while. Happy to be back on the list, at my new email address. Woody |
